Meet the Team

Jennifer Lester

Executive Director

Jennifer Lester brings a collective 14 years in management (11 years in senior living and three years in early childhood), team building and training, as well as a well-developed knowledge of business oversight, functions and operations. Prior to working in senior living, she taught and became the curriculum coordinator of an early childhood development center. During these years, she developed a compassionate understanding of working with families, as well as an empathetic understanding of persons unable to make decisions and actions for themselves. Jennifer utilizes this same compassionate value every day as families and individuals try to navigate with their loved ones in understanding assisted living and memory care. Her attention to detail, leadership and drive for dementia education are why we are a premier senior living community in Texas.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys hanging out with her 9-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter, and spending time with friends and family at the beach.

Jessie Wiens

Director of Sales and Marketing

Jessie Wiens has been a part of the senior living world for most of her life. She enjoyed volunteering at nursing homes from the early age of 5 with her Girl Scout troop, continued in high school with her HOSA team, and interned for home health and hospice companies right here in San Marcos while attending Texas State University. Jessie has eight years of senior living sales experience and finds joy in helping families navigate the journey. Her passion is helping make those tough things easier, and seeing the relief and happiness families experience after making the move to a senior living community.

In her spare time, Jessie has a love for traveling the globe. Feel free to stop by with any travel tips or to share your favorite vacation experience with Jessie!

Tia Hill

Resident Care Director

Tia Hill, Resident Care director at Sage Spring Senior Living, began her career in the teaching industry. She spent six years in childcare and loved it very much, but becoming a nurse and caring for the elderly population has always been Tia’s passion. Tia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and has been a registered nurse since 2016. She came to Sage Spring with several years of experience in various settings. Tia enjoys building relationships with our residents, residents’ families and team members. She firmly believes in growing strong, lasting bonds to make a great impact on the families we serve.

In her spare time, Tia enjoys spending time with her family of five children and husband, taking road trips to visit family, meeting new people, and making a difference to the people around her.

Kaitlyn Brecka

Generations Program Director

Kaitlyn Brecka, Generations program director for Sage Spring Senior Living, began caring for kids in a day care facility eight years ago while putting herself through nursing school. Since she was a little girl, she has always wanted to care for others. Kaitlyn spent the last four years as the charge nurse in a skilled nursing and long-term care community, which is where she discovered her love for working with seniors. Kaitlyn aspires to improve our residents’ quality of life and to help families navigate through the challenges of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Linda Steward

Vibrant Life® Director

Linda Steward is a fifth-generation Texan. Her grandparents played a major role in her upbringing and eventually moved into her childhood home to be cared for by her family in their final years. This was an invaluable opportunity for Linda to gain firsthand experience in caring for the elderly, which ultimately led to her current career path.

Linda’s warmhearted nature is magnified at work as she is given the chance to connect with our residents as if they were her own family. She takes pride in her ability to make people feel at home with her empathetic and holistic approach to care. Outside of Sage Spring, Linda enjoys exploring the outdoors and zooming around on her roller skates. She’s a naturally curious person who’s always been interested in history, education, music and theater.

Jesus is a close friend of hers, and she is enthusiastic about leaving this world better than the way she found it. She is an upbeat, quirky and vibrant person, so it’s only fitting for her to be serving as your Vibrant Life® director!

Kasey Jaime

Culinary Services Director

Food and Family. Family and Food. These things go together so well. Chef Kasey Jaime fell in love with cooking for his family at a young age while helping his grandma bake cookies or his mom cut vegetables. Today, his passions lie in feeding folks like they’re family. Working at Sage Spring Senior Living allows Kasey to combine his love for food and family. Helping seniors feel like family since 2017, his passions have coalesced into the chef he has become. Feel free to stop Kasey to chat about food, recipes or life!

James Mason

Building Services Director

James Mason, Building Services Coordinator for Sage Spring Senior Living, began his career in the building industry. He spent 10 years leading multiple field crews, and seven years as the vice president of Development for Landmark Surveying, where he led all private sector commercial and residential development. During this time, he developed a land surveying student organization, and helped teach para-professional classes in geomatics and land law at the local college. Two years ago, James brought his expertise in building management to the senior living industry because of his own personal family experience with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

He believes the heartbeat, cleanliness, and ambience of a community is critical to the wellness and wellbeing of our residents’ lives. James starts each day wanting to make a difference in people’s lives.
